Happy Friday, August 10, 2018

I think the lessons in this video are pretty self-explanatory.  This lesson will help you convert more of your prospective new clients into paying clients.  It will also help you begin to think of ways to set up systems you may have never thought of before to put non-lawyers into place who can meet with and convert your firm’s prospective new clients into paying clients even while you are away from the office!

And I have three quick administrative I’d like to get out of the way:

Admin Point #1: Please write your questions HERE.  I promise I will be checking in daily and responding either in writing or I’ll shoot a video to address your questions. Remember, nothing is "off limits".  Feel free during this series in particular, you should be thinking to ask for help with anything you feel could be standing in the way of you living a better life.  And in response to the person who wrote to me yesterday and explained to me all the reasons you’ve made up about why it’s "too much trouble" to get your law firm to work for you…basically he has no idea how to do it and he has only second and third-hand stories from people he doesn’t even know about how much money it takes, and all that b.s. that just isn’t true.  But instead of actually-investigating, he has just made up his mind that it’s not possible.

As you will see in today’s video, it really is worth it to get your firm to work for you so you can have a life.  Not only because you get to have a life.  But also because in the process of getting the operations of your law firm straightened-out so you can have a life, you are PROBABLY going to find all sorts of places where profits and potential profits are leaking out of your law firm.  Which is sort of the same thing as sucking the life right out of you if you’re still running your law firm more like a practice you go to work for to make a living, instead of running your law firm like a real business that works for you and gives you a life.

I’m not going to address this lawyer’s email in more detail here.  You know who you are.  And I’ll be happy to answer all your questions. Please post it HERE and I promise later today or tomorrow I’ll get you a response.

Admin Point #2: The workshops I’ve been making reference to. Let me explain. Our core business is serving as outside CEO, COO &/or CFO for more than 340 of the most amazing solo & small law firms in the Country. That’s our core business and we work on a simple and transparent monthly retainer for our "Members". They prefer to be referred to as Members, not clients because we all consider ourselves to be part of a very special community of super-entrepreneurial solo & small law firm owners.

We have live meetings once a quarter and other gatherings, to stick together because it’s tough to feel all alone out there running your law firm in a way that is so much different from the way that probably every other lawyer you know is approaching (or ignoring) the business-side of the law firm.  Never mind the fact that probably every other lawyer you know is being crushed under the weight of their law firm and our Members are able to stand on top of their law firm and it supports them in having a life.  The fact still remains, it can be lonely to be the only person you know who is running your law firm like a real business…even if the results are so obviously better.

Separate and apart from what our Members get as part of their monthly retainer, from time to time they ask and we produce extra workshops to go deep into topics of special interest.  So that is what I am referring to when I am talking about these workshops I’ll be conducting with our Members over the next two months.

Admin Point #3: I am not "trying to get you" to buy a ticket to any of these extra workshops we’re running for our Members.  First of all most of them are for Members-Only.  And secondly, even among our Members, they’re all sold out.

Instead what I’m trying to do is share a rather unique opportunity with you.  Why?  Why not?  It helps you.  It helps me give you a "taste" of what your life could be like if you had a CEO, COO &/or a CFO on your team and if you were part of this amazing community of very entrepreneurial law firm owners.

So I’m offering you the chance to claim one of the openings we’ll create during these workshops to have a call "live" with me and some of our Members to talk about ways you can improve your law firm. We can talk about how to help you solve whatever marketing, sales, management, staffing, strategic planning, tactical planning, and/or financial control issues you may be facing.  Or maybe even just talk to some lawyers whose law firms run really well about whether or not they think you can do it too and "has it been worth it"?

Click HERE to see the discussion at the BOTTOM OF THE PAGE with instructions for how you can put your name to one of these opportunities.  There’s no charge and no obligation except to show-up on time when we call you.

OK, gotta go.

Enjoy the video and please take the lesson to heart.

Best,

RJON
