Causes lead to effects. We all know this is how the world works, I think.
So then why is it that more people don’t behave as if they actually understand this fact of life? You know what? It doesn’t really matter.
YOU know better. And you ACT better (I think). And that is why you probably enjoy more success in your life than most other people do. After all, you are a lawyer. That means you have the freedom to earn a great living while doing meaningful work that helps people have a better life.
And not only that…you own your own law firm! Which makes it even MORE likely that you enjoy more success than even so many of our
fellow lawyers who never found the courage to take control of their destiny and build a business that could work for them and give them a taste of real freedom.
I really screwed up the software program we were going to use to give you a tour of the Dashboard. So we’re going to shoot that video tomorrow and show you how you can construct your own dashboard. And you’ll be able to see what’s really going on inside of your law firm. Even when you are away for days, weeks or even months at a time!
In fact, NOT having any kind of dashboard practically guarantees you will never be able to go away from your office for an extended period with a real sense of confidence. Because having a dashboard means you can see at a glance in a few minutes what’s going on "under the hood" while you’re away. And NOT having any sort of dashboard means that if you do manage to go away for any length of time your body may not be in your office but probably your mind is. And that’s no bueno.
OK, so the example. And the tour. And the lesson about how you can get yourself into "a dashboard state of mind" and create one for yourself…that’s going to have to wait until TOMORROW.
