Happy Sunday,

I hope you had a great weekend.  I'm back from being away from my office for 30 consecutive days.  I take off for about 30 days 3-4 times a year.  But it wasn't always like this.

I used to be a slave to my firm.  It owned me, instead of me owning the firm.  Dozens of our Members already enjoy this kind of freedom too.  Hundreds more are making progress every day toward this goal.  You can too.

Enjoy this lesson, stay tuned for Part 2 and reply to let me know if you have any specific questions about how you can set your own firm up to give you this kind of life...

There's nothing in this video to be afraid of.  What I am describing that I have accomplished in my firm and in my life you can accomplish in your firm and in your life too.

Dozens and dozens of our Members have also come to expect this kind of freedom too.  All because of some relatively simple "best practices" we helped them put into place.

Hundreds more are making progress toward that goal and regaining more and more control over their law firm and their lives every day. In fact one of the REQUIREMENTS of our Million Dollar Solo Lawyers' Club is that the Members of that exclusive group must take off 30 consecutive days each year.  That's a requirement.  Because I think if we want to be able to look our clients, our staff and our family in the eye and say "Don't worry you are protected" this is the least we should be able to do.

I hope you have a great week.

Now I'm taking my wife's car while mine charges, to bring my son to a birthday party.

Best,

~ RJON

p.s. Please keep in mind that our happiness depends on how we perform the act of measurement.  We are always measuring one thing or another.  We measure space, we measure time, we measure ourselves against our ideals and against others too.

Keep in mind as you watch this video that it was not many years ago that I couldn't have even imagined living with the kind of freedoms I now enjoy.  I wasn't born knowing how to manage my firm.  I had to learn how.

That's how I know you can learn how to do it too.  So whatever you do, please don't fall into the trap of measuring your beginning by someone else's middle.  Because everything that you have experienced in your life and career until this moment had to happen for you to be here and to prepare you to take charge of the next part of your life by building a law firm that works for you!
